To ensure effective and safe treatment, please adhere to the following guidelines for positioning the wound:
-
Distance from Vapor:
- Position the wound so that the nearest skin in contact with vapor is approximately 8 inches away from the point where vapor enters the treatment chamber.
-
Avoid Condensation Risk:
- If the vapor flow is too close to the skin, it increases the likelihood of condensation forming.
-
Repositioning Chamber:
- If you're not achieving ideal results, try repositioning the treatment chamber first for better alignment.
- If issues persist, please contact support for assistance in adjusting the vapor flow settings.
-
Treatment Bag Positioning:
- Ensure that the treatment bag does not make direct contact with the tissue that requires treatment.
-
Secure the Chamber:
- The drawstrings of the chamber should be pulled snugly to secure it in place without exerting undue pressure.
